MP docs demand Provincial Medical Service
Bhopal, Dec 25 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Medical Officers Association today demanded creation of a Provincial Medical Service on the lines of the Provincial Civil Service and a special law for protecting doctors from anti-social elements.
''Physicians' service conditions should be improved and promotion must be time-bound. Vehicle and telephone allowances should be provided. There should be no privatisation of government hospitals.
Good quality medicine and instruments must be supplied in time,'' Association General Secretary Lalit Shrivastav told UNI here.
The Association is organising a state-level convention at the local Gandhi Medical College on December 30.
