Maoist ultras' area commander arrested in Bihar

Gaya, Dec 25 (UNI) A self proclaimed area commander of the Maoist ultras has been arrested at Deoria village under Kothi police station in Imamganj block of the extremist-affected Gaya district.

Police said here today that Rampravesh Mahto, alias Pramodji, was arrested yesterday in a raid conducted at a hideout of the extremists in the village on a tip-off.

The arrested extremist was wanted by the police in connection with several cases.
