Patna, Dec 25 (UNI) The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) today expressed concern over an Additional Public Prosecutor's (APP) murder in Jehanabad and alleged that the common man was insecure under the rule of the Nitish Kumar-led NDA government in Bihar.

Speaking to newspersons here, NCP state unit general secretary-cum-spokesperson Mritunjay Kumar alleged that the incidences of loot, murder and rape had increased manifold in the current regime and the murder of APP Din Dyal Yadav in Jehanabad was a prominent case to expose the failure of the NDA government in providing security to the people.

He further alleged that the Nitish Kumar government was misleading the people in the name of good governance and development.

''Only announcements of development are not sufficient grounds to win the Vikramganj Lok Sabha by poll,'' the NCP spokesman said.

He alleged that the Bihar government was claiming success for the schemes introduced by the Centre.

''The farmers are not happy with the state government following the shortage of fertilisers in the state which has encouraged its blackmarketing. The Nitish government has failed to redress the grievances of the common man,'' he further stated.
