36 employees found absent in Kashmir

Srinagar, Dec 25 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir government is contemplating strict action against 36 employees found absent from duty in Bandipora district, an official spokesman said today.

To ensure punctuality and attendance in government offices in Bandipora district, the Additional Deputy Commissioner conducted surprise inspection of various departments, he added.

During the surprise check, the officer found 36 employees absent from duty, the spokesman said.

The Additional Deputy Commissioner has directed the concerned authorities to initiate strict disciplinary action against the absentee officials, he added.
