New Delhi, Dec 24 (UNI) The supporters of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and BJP workers will celebrate his 84th birth day by organising several welfare programmes in several parts of the country.
Mr Vajpayee would be receiving party leaders and visitors tomorrow at his residence on Krishna Menon Marg, his first public appearance after many months specially after recouping from his health problems. His previous meetings in the recent past have been confined to partymen.
Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will be taking oath at Ahmedabad tomorrow as a birth day gift to the former PM, BJP spokesman Prakash Javadekar said. The partymen had planned blood donation camps and other programmes all over the country to observe Mr Vajpayee's birth day in an appropriate manner.
