Mumbai, Dec 24 (UNI) The Board of Control for Cricket in India, (BCCI)'s tours programmes and Fixtures Committee would meet in Mumbai on January in the new year to finalise the tour schedule of South Africa.
South Africa are slated to visit India in March next year, where they would be playing three Tests during their tour here, BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah informed here today.
The committee headed by BCCI vice president Shashank Manohar will meet in Mumbai on January 2, Mr Shah informed.
After some discussions the two countries' cricket boards have come to an agreement on the tour and it was cleared by the BCCI's Working Committee when it met earlier this month in Mumbai.
South Africa are scheduled to visit India in March-April to play three Tests against the hosts and the venues are expected to be Chennai, Nagpur and Ahmedabad as per the BCCI's rotation policy formula.
