Bikramganj,(Bihar), Dec 24 (UNI) Union Rural Development Minister and RJD National Vice-President Raghuvansh Prasad Singh today branded the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar as 'anti development' and alleged that the chief minister was deliberately not providing land for installation of Railway factories in the state.

Addressing a public meeting in Bikramganj constituency, where by-elections were slated for December 29, Mr Singh said the Nitish Kumar-led NDA government was not committed towards development of the state. If he was so, then he would have taken initiative to provide land to establish the required factories in Bihar.

He said the Centre had already moved the project for opening new schools and the railway factories, which would provide employment opportunity to the youth and the local people, besides giving a boost to the state's economy.

He alleged that Mr Kumar and his government was deliberately delaying the land acquisition for the purpose, following which the people of Bihar were deprived of the benefits they could have got from the projects.

He said the Centre was constructing roads in the state under Prime Ministers Scheme and was pumping funds for the developmental activities but the funds were languishing due to the apathetic attitude of the government.

On this occasion, another Union Minister and RJD leader A A Fatmi alleged that Mr Kumar made tall promises of development and 'misled' the people in the name of development.
