Procession in Capital tomorrow, traffic likely to be affected
New Delhi, Dec 24 (UNI) Traffic will be affected in the walled city areas tomorrow following a procession to commemorate Swami Shardanand's Balidan Divas.
The procession will start at 1000 hrs from Swami Shardanand Balidan Bhavan and terminate at Parade Ground at around noon.
Suitable arrangements have been to facilitate the movement of the procession as well as regulate the flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic, according to an advisory issued by the traffic police.
The routes which are likely to be affected are Naya Bazar Road, Khari Baoli Road, Ajmeri Gate, Sita Ram Bazar, Chandni Chowk, Subhash Marg, SP Mukherjee Marg and Church Mission Road.
Road users have been advised to plan their journey in advance and follow the directions given by the traffic personnel to ensure smooth movement of vehicles and minimize traffic dislocation and disruption.
