National Consumer Day observed in Delhi

New Delhi, Dec 24 (UNI) National Consumers Day was observed in the Capital today with several service providers organising various programmes to mark the occasion.

BSES and DMRC organised special programmes to understand the needs and hear the grievances of the consumers.

BSES organised 'Apke Dwar' an open house interactive session for on-the-spot resolution of complaints. An empowered team of officials interacted with the RWA representatives and members to better understand the needs and concerns of consumers in order to bring about constant improvements in its deliverables.

Delhi Metro had special arrangements made at the Customer Care Centres at Rajiv Chowk and Kashmere Gate Metro Stations where the commuters submitted their suggestions and grievances to the station staff.

Besides, Delhi Metro officers were available at Customer Care Centres to address the grievances and complaints of commuters between 1000 hrs to 1700 hrs.
