Mid term poll possible before 2009: Sharad Yadav

Saharsa, Dec 24 (UNI) JD(U) National president Sharad Yadav today said there was every possibility of mid term poll of Lok Sabha before 2009.

Mr Yadav told UNI here that the results of Gujarat assembly elections indicated a victory of the NDA partners in case of mid term elections for new parliament.

The people of Gujarat gave a befitting reply to the alleged faulty policies of the Centre and the Congress party felt it heavily, the JD(U) chief and former union minister said.

Mr Yadav said poverty and price rise were now at the peak due to the ''faulty policies'' of the Centre. The prices of diesel and petrol too were too soaring which would go against the UPA, particularly the Congress in the mid term poll.

Mr Yadav alleged the corruption had increased many folds because of the policies of the Congress and the people would reply suitably in the elections.
