New Delhi, Dec 24 (UNI) LG Electronics India Private Ltd (LGEIL), a subsidiary of South Korea's LG Electronics, today launched its latest phone 'Viewty' priced at Rs 21,900.
Model-actress Deepika Padukone unveiled the new handset.
The handset has a 5-mega pixel camera with a Xenon flash and also offers manual focus option for distinct shots.
''Mobile users are aspiring for better quality images to capture life's special moments and we have responded to the market needs by launching Viewty,'' company's Director (Sales and Marketing) V Ramachandran said.
'Viewty' has sold over 310,000 units globally and this phenomenal success was achieved in just five weeks since its launch in Europe this year.
''The 'Viewty' has the perfect balance of style and technology, something that a brand like LG is always known for. The phone is indeed a must have for all those who perceive mobile phones as an extension of their personality. The LG Viewty has extra-ordinary features to offer and it has indeed raised the bar in the mobile phone market,'' Ms Padukone said.
