4-nation South East Asian Karate championship begins in Mumbai

Barrackpore, Dec 24 (UNI) The final rounds of the 4-nation South East Asian Karate-Do championship will be held in Mumbai between January 5 to 7 next with participants from Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh and host India.

Director of Nihon Shotokan Karate-Do Federation of India (NSKF-India) Shubhankar Das said here today the preliminary rounds of the championship along with a three-day camp that ended today was organised by the NSKF-India at Shayamnagar Bayam Sangha in North 24-Parganas.

Chief Instructor of the NSKF International and former World champion Pemba Tamang had conducted training.

More than 200 participants, twelve men and women each from Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh and the host country took part in the camp.
