Tripura sub-inspector sent to judicial custody for another 14 days
Agartala, Dec 23 (UNI) A local court has remanded a Tripura sub-inspector, accused of molesting a minor girl in the lock-up on December 11, in 14 day judicial custody.
Earlier, the accused police officer, Nandan Baidya, was suspended from his services and sent to police remand for seven days in connection with the case.
Meanwhile, the inquiry committee formed to investigate the molestation charges levelled against the state joint secretary (Home) by one of his lady subordinates, recorded the statements of all the persons concerned during the past three days.
