Tripura Board examinees to get 15 minutes additional time

Agartala, Dec 23 (UNI) The Tripura government has accepted the NCERT's proposal to give 15 minutes additional time to the students in the Higher Secondary and Madhyamik examinations conducted by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE).

Official sources said here today said according to the NCERT's advice, the TBSE had agreed to extend the examination time from three hours to three hours and fifteen minutes.

According to the decision, the additional time was awarded only to the Tripura Board examinees and it would not applicable for other examinations conducted by the schools.

The sources added that if any government school wanted to follow this rule for their annual and half-yearly examinations, a special permission would be required from the state government as well as the TBSE.
