Lahore, Dec 23: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that PML-Q is not a political party; but is a faction of those who salute the rising sun, instead. Talking to media at the Lahore Airport, Sharif urged reporters not to ask him questions regarding talks with PML-Q. Sharif said that he deemed it beneath his status to enter into any sort of negotiations with the PML-Q.
He said the upcoming general elections would witness a competition between fascism and democracy and ultimately democracy will emerge as victorious. Sharif is expected to arrive in Karachi today for a two-day visit, where he is scheduled to address a public meeting and visit Quaid-e-Azam's mausoleum.
On Monday, Sharif will leave for Sukkur for a public meeting at Ghanta Ghar Chowk. The next stop will be the house of PML-N Sindh president, Syed Ghaus Ali Shah, to condole the death of his wife and son.
