JKNPP demands independent observers for LA polls
Jammu, Dec 23 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) today demanded imposition of Governor's rule and independent observers in all the constituencies of the state when it goes for elections to the legislative Assembly next year.
Addressing a press conference here, JKNPP chairman Prof Bhim Singh said his party will write to the President, Prime Minister and the Chief Election Commission in this regard.
He
expressed
no
faith
on
Congress-led
coalition
Government
in
the
State,
saying,
''the
elections
can
never
be
held
free
and
fair
under
the
State
Government.''
''The
independent
observers,''
Prof
Singh
said,
''should
not
be
government
employees.''
