Haryana forwards 4 irrigation schemes to Centre
Chandigarh, Dec 23 (UNI) Haryana Command Area Development Authority has forwarded four irrigation projects costing Rs 1065.75 crore to the Central Government for inclusion under Command Area Development and Water Management Programme.
These projects will provide irrigation facilities over an area of 5.05 lakh hectares of the state.
While stating this here today, Irrigation Minister Capt Ajay Singh Yadav said that the four projects which had been forwarded included Western Jamuna Canal Command Phase VI, Jawahar Lal Nehru Canal Command Phase II, Siwani Canal Command and Loharu Canal Command.
