Jaipur, Dec 23 (UNI) tHE BJP's victory in Gujarat assembly election has come as a moral booster for the ruling party while the Congress took it as ''note of extra caution'' for the next assembly election in the state due to be held by end of next year.
BJP state president Mahesh Sharma said that the Gujarat election results would certainly have its bearing on the Rajasthan assembly elections and would brighten the saffron party's prospects.
''The election results in our neighbouring state had reflected the people's endorsement to strong nationalist and progressive policies and strong will of Narendra Modi to fight out terrorism, he added.
He said that the impact of the Gujarat polls outcome would not be confined to Rajasthan only but it would also have its echo in the next Lok Sabha polls.
However, the opposition Congress ruled out the possibility of fallout of BJP's victory in Gujarat on the next assembly election in this state.
Party state president CP Joshi said that local issues, equations and circumstances did differ in every state and therefore it was wrong to say that today's poll results in the neighbouring state would have its bearing on assembly elections in Rajasthan after about a year or so.
''Even than we in Congress will like to take Gujarat results as ''a note of extra caution'' while finalising our organisational approach and strategy for the assembly polls next year'', Mr Joshi said.
