Panaji, Dec 23 (UNI) Reiterating its demand for scrapping all the Special Economic Zones (SEZs) in Goa, the BJP Executive Committee has resolved to protest if the Government failed to pay heed to its demands.

The Committee, at its meeting today, alleged that the six-month-old Congress Government headed by Digambar Kamat was 'a non-functional, inept and corrupt regime' with no development, deterioration in law and order besides, inherent contradictions.

''The Government machinery has become lethargic and failure of administrative control is evident in several incidents like differences among senior police officers on occupying cabins making headlines in the media, and open fist fights among staffers in Sanguim Mamlatdar office during office hours,'' Party president Shripad Naik told mediapersons after the executive meeting.

The Chief Minister is crippled due to non-cooperation of the subordinates and has become a laughing stock for his proclamation of ''aam aadmi's government''.

The party further demanded a CBI probe into land allotments made by the Goa Industries Development Corporation to SEZ beneficiaries to unearth large scale corruption, allegedly involving former chief minister Pratapsingh Rane and former industries minister Luizinho Faleiro.

The party also sought release of a white paper on the status of the Rajiv Gandhi IT Habitat, now being opposed by local residents.
