Rain or thundershowers likely in Kerala, Tamil Nadu

Pune, Dec 22 (UNI) Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Heavy rains are likely to occur at many places in Lakshadweep.

Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Lakshadweep, isolated places in Tamil Nadu and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the Gujarat State, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala. Cold wave conditions prevailed at isolated places in Jharkhand.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in Jammu and were below normal in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, interior Orissa and west Madhya Pradesh.

They were appreciably to markedly above normal in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, east Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat , Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada and Telangana, some parts of Vidarbha and Tamil Nadu and were above normal in some parts of Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, coastal Orissa, Uttarakhand, Rayalaseema, interior Karnataka and Kerala. They were normal over the rest of the country.
