New Delhi, Dec 22 (UNI) After the chill of the beginning of the week, a Sunny weekend seems in offing for the people of Delhi as the mercury in the Capital city shot up to three degrees above normal at 10.9 Degree Celsius.
It was another Sunny day for the people of the city with the minimum temperature shoiting up, from 7.2 degrees C yesterday, to 10.9 degrees C.
The maximum was also recorded three degrees above normal at 26.2 Degree C.
With a bright sunlit sky, visibility continued to remain normal at 1500 m at 0700 hrs.
The abatement is chill is likely to remain for the next two to three days with the weatherman forecasting that minimum temperatures in Delhi and other plains of northwest India are likely to remain near normal during the next two to three days.
In fact, the weatherman has predicted a rise in the minimum temperature to 12 degrees C tomorrow.
The Met office forecasts a mainly clear sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours.
