Kolkata, Dec 21 (UNI) The weather remained cool with cold winds blowing over the city throughout the day.
Alipore Met officials said the minimum temperature was recorded at 12 degree Celsius and it is likely to remain there for the rest of the day. The maximum was recorded at 25 degree Celsius.
However, it was far colder in the hills, where the North Bengal University Recording station recorded the minimum temperature at as low as 8.3 degree Celsius. The maximum was recorded at 25 degree Celsius.
The maximum humidty level was relatively high throughout the state with 92 per cent being recorded in the capital of the state and around 98 per cent in the hills.
