Temperature up due to southernly wind

Jaipur, Dec 21(UNI) An upward swing in the temperature guided by the southernly wind due to western disturbances provided respite to the people reeling under intense cold wave conditions in the state.

The state capital Jaipur witnesed sunshine with the day temperature rising considerably. According to the meteorological department Churu has recorded the lowest minimum tempeature of 3.9 degrees Celsius Sriganganagar 4.1, Jaipur 4.4, Dabok (Udaipur) 8.6, Jaisalmer 9.6, Jodhpur 9.8, Rawatbhata 9.3, Kota 11.6, Bundi 15.2 degrees Celsius in the last 24 hours.

The Weather department forcast dry weather and a clear sky for the next two days.
