A private donor who wishes to remain anonymous has donated 4000 dollars to Crime Stoppers to add to the existing standard 1000 dollars reward that was already being offered for helping in apprehending the culprits.
Chandrasekhar Reddy Komma (31), a biology student from Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, and Kiran Kumar Allam (33), a chemistry student from Hyderabad, were killed at an apartment in the building near the campus.
The additional 4000 dollars, however, will only be paid for information that is received through the Crime Stoppers tip line before midnight Christmas Eve (Monday night, December 24th).
At that time the reward will revert back to the standard 1000 dollars amount.
Investigators continue to actively follow leads searching for at least three and possibly four black male suspects, who were believed be in a plain, older model light-colored Oldsmobile Alero.
