MP gets respite from biting cold
Bhopal, Dec 21 (UNI) A slight rise in the temperature today gave some respite from the biting cold in most parts of Madhya Pradesh.
Day and night temparture climbed by one-two degrees Celsius at most places. Minimum temperature touched 9-11 C several parts. However, mercury hovered around 6-7 C in north-eastern part.
In the state capital, maximum and minimum temperatures of 28 C, two notches above normal, and 8.7 C, two notches below normal, were recorded.
Regional Met department predicted that the minimum would reach about 11 C tomorrow.
Rewa and Gwalior turned out to be the coldest place with minimum of seven C each.
