Mercury increases by 5 degree Celsius
Patna, Dec 21 (UNI) The people of Patna today experienced a comparatively warmer day following sudden rise in mercury by five degree Celsius.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 10 degree Celsius in the state capital while the maximum temperature remained at 25 degree Celsius.
Daltonganj of Rohtas district remained the coldest place in the state as minimum temperature pegged at 6 degree Celsius.
Gaya and Purnea recorded a minimum temperature of 8 degree Celsius.
The local met office said the night temperature in Patna and its neighbouring area was expected to dip further.
