Controversy over VIP passes in TTD

Tirupati, Dec 21 (UNI) A controversy over Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) officials, issuing VIP passes to non-protocol persons kicked up here today.

Talking to newspersons here, TTD Board Member O V Ramana alleged that certain TTD officials had issued VIP passes to non-protocol persons on the occasion of Vaikunta Ekadasi festival yesterday.

He said the TTD had earlier decided to issue VIP passes only to people who come under protocol.

The issue was discussed with TTD Executive Officer K V Ramanachary and he had promised to take action against the TTD officials concerned, he added.
