SR to run specials from Chennai Egmore

Chennai, Dec 20 (UNI) The Southern Railways (SR) will run special trains from Chennai Egmore to clear the extra rush of passengers.

A SR release here said the Tiruchirappalli-Chennai Egmore special would leave Tiruchchirappalli at 2130 hrs on December 22, 29, January 5 and 12 and arrive Chennai Egmore at 0430 hrs the next day.

In return direction, the Chennai Egmore-Tiruchirappalli special would leave Chennai Egmore at 2245 hrs on December 27, January 3, 10 and 17 and arrive Tiruchirappalli at 0545 hrs the next day.

Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil Special would leave Chennai Egmore at 2315 hrs on December 23, 30, January 6 and 13 and arrive Nagercoil at 1415 hrs the next day.

In the return direction, Nagercoil-Chennai Egmore Special would leave Nagercoil at 1940 hrs on December 24, 31, January 7 and 14 and arrive Chennai Egmore at 0930 hrs the next day.

Chennai Egmore-Tuticorin Special would leave Chennai Egmore at 2245 hrs on December 25, January one, 8 and 15 and arrive at Tuticorin at 1215 hrs the next day.

In return, Tuticorin-Chennai Egmore Special would leave Tuticorin at 2115 hrs on December 26, January 2, 9 and 16 and arrive in Chennai Egmore at 1000 hrs the next day.

The Chennai Central-Thiruvananthapuram Special would leave Chennai Central at 2145 hrs on Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays from December 22 to January 12 and arrive Thiruvananthapuram at 1630 hrs the next day.

In its return direction, the Thiruvananthapuram-Chennai Central Special would leave Thiruvananthapuram at 2000 hrs on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from December 23 to January 13 and arrive Chennai Central at 1230 hrs the next day.

Chennai Egmore-Thiruvananthapuram Special would leave Chennai Egmore at 1500 hrs on December 27, January 3 and 10 and arrive at Thiruvananthapuram at 0700 hrs the next day.

In the return direction, the Thiruvananthapuram-Chennai Egmore Special would leave Thiruvananthapuram at 1030 hrs on December 28, January 4 and 11 and arrive at Chennai Egmore at 0415 hrs the next day, the release added.
