Kurukshetra Utsav concludes with Shobha Yatra

Chandigarh, Dec 20 (UNI) Secretary to Haryana Governor Alok Nigam, who is also the Member Secretary of Kurukshetra Development Board, today flagged off the Shobha Yatra on the concluding day of the five-day Kurukshetra Utsav-Gita Jayanti Samaroh from the holy Brahamsarover.

The Shobha yatra culminated at the same place after traversing through the main roads of the city.

A spokesman for the Kurukshetra Development Board (KDB) said the Shobha Yatra was organised by the district administration, KDB, Sri Jairam Vidhyapeeth and other religious as well as social organisations of Kurukshetra.

The Shobha Yatra featured colourful and well designed tableaux projecting different religious, spiritual, developmental and social activities of various public as well as private sectors.
