New Delhi, Dec 20 (UNI) Eyeing 200-million-dollar online tutoring industry, Indian Angel Network today entered into a strategic partnership with Vienova.
''We are eyeing markets in the US, UK and Australia as technology is now opening window of opportunities for global education,'' Vienova technology CEO Parikshit Jain told reporters.
We have also adopted 500 students from Nithari, and will be working for their welfare and education, Mr Jain added.
Vienova delivers highly-customised live services to customers across the globe and has around 250 tutors in the country, catering to 1,250 registered students in the US and UK.
''The talent shortage globally will be met by the excess workforce that India has. This crunch is also a potential market which we are eyeing through our investment in Vienova,'' Indian Angel Network founder Saurabh Srivastava said.
The global online tutoring is predicted to grow to two to four billion dollars over the next next five to seven years, a growth of over 50 per cent.
