Kohima, Dec 20 (UNI) The Nagaland Peoples' Front (NPF) President Shurhozelie today said the Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN) government is ready to face any eventuality.
Mr Shurhozelie was reacting to a media report of the opposition Congress-led Nagaland Progressive Alliance (NPA) members, who were currently camping in New Delhi to pressurise the UPA government for dismissing the DAN government.
''The people of the state will judge it. Whatever situation may come, we are ready to face it, but I do not see any room for it as the law is there,'' he said.
The AICC leaders claimed that it had urged the UPA government to dismiss Neiphiu Rio-led DAN government while AICC General Secretary Margaret Alva's reported to media persons that it was awaiting the Centre's response to the report of the Governor K Sankaranarayanan.
Mr Shurhozelie had alleged that Ms Alva was playing some dirty games, but at the same time expressed his confidence that the DAN government would ultimately withstand the opposition's game plan.
