Bangalore, Dec 19 (UNI) City-based Winnova World, promoted by a team of educational and IT professionals, would soon introduce a novel and comprehensive online course in Sanskrit titled 'Prajna Vani'.
Briefing newspersons on the portal, M K Sridhar, professor of Sanskrit at National College here and one of the promoters, said the portal was an e-book that offers easy way of learning the form and structure of Sanskrit.
It helps to easily learn and communicate in simple Sanskrit, to interpret Sanskrit verses on one's own, understand short stories and seek clarifications online during the learning process, he said.
"This portal will help one appreciate the wisdom of Sanskrit which is considered as the oldest language in the world," he said.
He said the knowledge of Sanskrit language and literature was the result of deep thinking and introspection of our seers and poets.
The unique grammatical pattern of the language had contributed in preserving the languages originality and purity.
By learning this ancient language of India, one could gain a deep insight into the cultural and spiritual legacy of the country. The portal would be available on the web from December 22, Dr Sridhar added.
