Undertrial escapes from police custody

Dehri-on-Sone, Dec 19 (UNI) A handcuffed undertrial dodged the police and escaped from the Dehri police station area in Rohtas district today.

Police said Ganesh Singh was being escorted from Akodhigola police station to Sasaram for production in the civil court by a private bus. Taking advantage of the crowd, Ganesh escaped, police informed.

A manhunt had been launched to nab the prisoner.
