Top Hizb commander surrenders, deadly RDX seized in J
Srinagar, Dec 19 (UNI) A top commander of the pro-Pakistan Hizbul Mujahideen surrendered before the police while security forces seized deadly RDX across Jammu and Kashmir during the past 24 hours, an official spokesman said today.
He said a self-styled deputy district commander of the Hizbul Mujahideen surrendered before the police at Satman Chadoora in central Kashmir district of Badgam yesterday.
The militant handed over an AK rifle, 20 rounds and one grenade to the authorities, the spokesman added.
He said security forces seized 1.5 kg of RDX near a 'nullah' at Jora Farm, Chakroi in R S Pura sector in Jammu yesterday.
