Panasonic forays into entry-level laser printer market
New Delhi, Dec 19 (UNI) Electronic products manufacturer Panasonic Asia Pacific Pte Ltd today announced its foray into entry-level print, scan and copy (PSC) category with the launch of its laser priced at Rs 10,999.
''Today along with our foray into entry-level print, scan and copy (PSC) category we are also entering the IT vertical. Earlier, we were present in office automation segment,'' Panasonic Asia Pacific Pte Ltd Chief Operating Officer Chander Kohli told reporters.
The company expects to achieve a market share of 10 per cent, from present seven per, in laser printer category through the launch of its MB series, Mr Kohli said.
Panasonic Asia Pacific Pte Ltd also today launced two other all-in-one lase printers, KX-MB772CX and KX-MB882CX, priced at Rs 15,999 and Rs 25,999.
The company expects to sell 22,000 units in the financial year 2008-09.
