Minor dies in gun mishap

Balasore, Dec 19 (UNI) A seven-year old boy died when a gun accidentally went off during cleaning by a retired army man at Saui village under Balasore Sadar police station today.

Police said Rabindra Parida was cleaning his gun when it accidentally went off hitting a seven year old boy sitting next to him.

A 12-year old girl present at the spot was injured and admitted to the hospital.

The retired army man is absconding.The police has registered a case against him.
