Mahindra Holidays selected 'Business Superbrand 2008'

Chennai, Dec 19 (UNI) Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India Limited, a leisure hospitality provider offering quality family holidays, and part of the Mahindra Group of Companies, has been selected as the 'Business Superbrand 2008' by the Brand Council of India (BCI).

The Superbrand status was awarded by an independent panel of judging experts in the BCI, a Company release here today said.

A Superbrand was one which had established the finest reputation in its field and offered customers significant emotional or tangible advantages over its competitors, which (consciously or sub-consciously) customers want and recognise.

The Company also recently filed its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) for an Initial Public Offering (IPO).

The issue would constitute 13 per cent of the fully diluted post-issue paid-up capital of the Company, the release added.
