India
and
Mauritius
wanted
to
jointly
fight
terrorism.
"Mauritius is extending its help in fighting against terrorism as both the countries believe that there should be zero tolerance to any sort of terrorist activities," Mukherjee said in Port Louis.A 30-point agreement was inked between Mukherjee and Madan Murlidhar Dulloo, Mauritian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and Cooperation in sectors like education, trade, IT and cultural exchange.
During his three-day visit, Pranab also met Mauritian Deputy Prime Minister Ramakrishna Sithanen, who is also the Minister of Finance and Economic Development of Mauritius. Mukherjee is in Mauritius to co-chair the 10th India-Mauritius Joint Commission Meeting. Mukherjee will also call on President Anerood Jagnauth and Prime Minister Navinchandra Ramgoolam.
