Ahmedabad, Dec 19 (UNI) A three-day long 44th bi-annual conference of Gujarati Sahitya Parishad will be held at Gandhinagar from tomorrow.
The Conference, which is being organised by Gujarati Sahitya Parishad in collaboration with some voluntary organisations, will be inaugurated by noted saint and 'Ramayan kathakaar' Moraribapu and attended by hundreds of delegates from all over the world. The conference will be marked by different cultural and literary programs like 'Granth Aarti' and 'Granth Yatra' in order to promote the awareness about Gujarati literature.
A special book chariot, with classics of Gujarati literature, visited around 45 schools of Gandhinagar today. The First Gujarati 'spell-check' software, developed by Gujarat Vidyapith, will also be inaugurated in the conference.
Sessions of poetry recitation along with lectures and discussion on various aspects of literature will take place during the conference.
