Mumbai, Dec 19 (UNI) The police have registered a complaint against singer Udit Narayan for allegedly assaulting music director Vishnu Narayan.
The Versova police confirmed that they have registered a non-cognisable offence against Udit Narayan last evening.
Vishnu Narayan, in his complaint with the police, said he had booked a studio at Andheri for recording Udit's song. But, the singer did not turn up and the recording was rescheduled for the next day. But, again Udit Narayan did not turn up.
Udit Narayan's failure to honour his commitment had caused him monetary loss since he had booked the studio for two days, Vishnu Narayan said in his complaint.
Vishnu Narayan told the police that he had called up Udit and told the latter to pay up the bill for the studio. This had infuriated Udit Narayan who had assualted him yesterday.
