ABN Amro launches designer credit cards
Mumbai, Dec 19 (UNI) In bid to cash in on the growing affluent consumers in the country, global banking major ABN Amro today launched the country's first ever designer credit card here.
A set of three designer platinum credit card collection, designed by ace fashion designer Rohit Bal, features three designs inspired by the national symbols of the country such as peacock and lotus.
After launching the card here, ABN Amro Corporate Executive Vice President Meena Sanyal said ''Across the world, customers are seeking premium credit cards as a symbol of status. With the introduction of premium card, we will be addressing the niche segment of affluent customers in India.'' The platinum credit card offers host of services to its members, which include free entry to 500 exclusive airpot lounges and an insurance cover of Rs 1 crore. The annual membership for the cards is in between the range of Rs 3,000 to 5,000.
