Bhopal, Dec 18 (UNI) Psychological training is provided to traffic police personnel to deal with influentual people flouting traffic rules.
Talking to UNI here today, Additional Inspector General of Police (Traffic) V K Pawar admitted that several times such situations developed when influential people posed hindrance in discharge of duty.
''Under such circumstances, it is necessary to drive home the point to the concerned person that he should not commit mistake.
This has to be done with patience, politeness and determination,'' Mr Pawar, who is also Police Training Research Institute Director, said.
He said psychological training was provided to traffic police personnel keeping this in mind.
A turmoil was created after a worker of a political party was stopped by traffic police near Jawahar chowk here last evening.
The matter ended only after senior police officials intervened.
