Sena president in Igatpuri, Trimbakeshwar municipal councils

Nashik, Dec 18 (UNI) Shiv Sena has won the president's post in the Igatpuri Municipal Council and the Trimbakeshwar Municipal Council.

Sanjay Indulkar of the Sena was elected president of the Igatpuri Municipal Council while Suryakant Watekar, also of the Sena, was elected the vice president.

Mr Indulkar defeated Narendra Kumre of the Shahar Vikas Agadhi while Mr watekar defeated Shobha Chandwadkar, also of the Shahar Vikas Agadhi.

In the Trimbakeshwar Municipal Council, Shiv Sena's Asha Lokhande was elected president by defeating Suchita Shikhare of the BJP.

Independent candidate Lalit Lohgaonkar was elected vice president unopposed.
