RLD delegation meets UP Guv, flays Mayawati govt
Lucknow, Dec 18 (UNI) A Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) delegation today met Uttar Pradesh Governor T V Rajeswar and urged him to intervene in the alleged framing of party leaders by the Mayawati government.
The delegation, led by UP RLD unit president Ram Asrey, alleged ruling Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) government booked senior party leader and former UP minister Swami Omvesh at Bijnore in a fake case and sent him to jail.
He further flayed the Mayawati government for working with a feeling of vendetta.
The delegation comprised RLD general secretary Munna Singh Chauhan, party's MP from Bijnore Munshi Rampal, spokesperson Anil Dubey and former minister Sacchidanand Gupta.
