Rawalpindi Police Station best in Punjab
Phagwara, Dec 18 (UNI) Rawalpindi Police Station, a unit of Sadar Police Station Phagwara, is adjudged best in Punjab and has been included in top five police stations of the country which will now participate in the international level competition scheduled to be held on December 22 in Malaysia.
Kapurthla SSP Rakesh Aggarwal told UNI the 35 Police Stations of Punjab, which had participated in the state-level competition, had an aggregated score of 75.5 close to the Indian average of 75.75.
Rawalpindi Police Station was assessed with the highest score of 98.17 in the state, he said.
The SSP said it was among the top five out of the 116 police stations across India which made it to the national level competitions.
Giving details of the competition, the SSP said community orientation, physical conditions, equal treatment, transparency and accountability, detention condition were included in the categories for the competition.
