Maharashtra 216 at stumps on day one

Visakhapatnam, Dec 18 (UNI) Maharashtra were 216 at stumps on day one of the final match against Mumbai in the All India under-22 C K Nayudu trophy cricket tournament here today.

Winning the toss, Maharashtra elected to bat first. Ameya Shirikhande with 26, Ikhil Phardkar 32, Ajinkaya Joshi an unbeaten 49 and Rohit Jadhave an unbeaten 20 were the chief scorers.

Balwinder Singh Sandhu with 2 for 56, Rohan Raje 2 for 61 and Ankit Chaan 2 for 12 were the pick of Mumbai bowlers.
