Doha Bank CEO gets American award

Kochi, Dec 18 (UNI) Mr R Seetharaman, CEO of Doha Bank and Chairman of Doha Brokerage and Financial Services (DBFS) Limited, has won an American award for promoting US-Qatari trade and financial ties.

The certificate of appreciation was conferred on Mr Seetharaman, a Chartered Accountant from Tamil Nadu, by Mr Israel Hernandez, Assistant Secretary of Commerce, Director General of the Commercial Service and International Trade Administration of the United States Department of Commerce, at a recent function held at Doha, according to a release here today.

Mr Seetharaman had also earned appreciation earlier for his role in promoting economic cooperation and cross-border investment opportunities between the GCC and other regions across the globe.
