Another controversy concerning Koda's associate rocks Assy
Ranchi, Dec 18 (UNI) Accusing the UPA-backed Madhu Koda government of indulging in corruption, the BJP-led Opposition created pandemonium in the House forcing Speaker Alamgir Alam to adjourn proceedings for ten minutes today.
Raising the issue prior to the Question Hour, BJP's C P Singh and Saryu Rai drew the House's attention to a newspaper report that said a close and of Mr Koda had forcefully occupied a controversial mine in West Singhbhum.
Displaying a CD, they went to the well of the House and shouted anti-government slogans and demanded an inquiry into it.
As the situation turned worse, Mr Alam adjourned the House for ten minutes.
When it reassembled, the Jharkhand state non-aided educational institute(grants) (amendment), 2007 bill and Jharkhand Value Added Tax (amendment) 2007 bill were passed.
Mr Alam was forced to adjourn the House sine-die midway during the last session as the Opposition disrupted all the proceedings demanding reply from the Chief Minister regarding the scam.
