Rain, snow likely in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, J

Pune, Dec 17 (UNI) Rain or snow are likely to occur at isolated places in Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Tamil Nadu, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, and at isolated places in coastal Orissa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, interior Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana and Karnataka.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Cold wave conditions prevailed in northeast Rajasthan and at isolated places in Punjab, Haryana, Jammu, west Uttar Pradesh and north Madhya Pradesh.

Night temperatures were appreciably below normal in Bihar and in some parts of west Rajasthan, and in remaining parts of west Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, and Jammu and Kashmir. They were below normal in east Uttar Pradesh and in some parts of Jharkhand, southeast Rajasthan and north Gujarat, and in remaining parts of north Madhya Pradesh.

Night temperatures were appreciably to markedly above normal in Manipur, north Madhya Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and in some parts of south Gujarat, Marathwada, Rayalseema, and coastal Karnataka. They were above normal in Tripura and Himachal Pradesh and in some parts of Assam, Meghalaya, south Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, north Chattisgarh and Tamil Nadu.
