Global Investors Summit to be reviewed

{image-Global Investors Summit02_17122007.jpg news.oneindia.in}Bhopal, Dec 17: In order to ensure the proper implementation of all Memorandum of Understandings (MoU), which were inked in Global Investors Summit at Madhya Pradesh's commercial capital Indore two months before, state government is going to held a review meeting on January 16-17, 2008. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan told the sources today that all the senior officers of concerned department, including Industry Minister, would take part in the meeting.''Any obstacle will be removed soon if detected in the meeting,'' said Mr Chouhan.

Stressing that an intense review would be carried out and problems would be rectified soon to ensure that of MoUs shall not remain confined to the files Mr Chouhan said investment-related several MoUs had reached the edge of implementation and other MoUs would also be executed soon following departmental review.

''The meeting will not solely centered only on summit-related proposals but important decisions will also be made after discussing other issues related to the acceleration of the state's industrial development speed,'' said the chief minister.

Political observers said that this global investors summit is going to be proved a milestone in the direction of state's industrial development. This is probably first occasion in the state's history in which implementation of MoUs, which were signed in any investors summit, have been scrutinised with a continuos dialogue with industrialists.
